I live in SC but I was born in waynesboro Va. Growing up I spent as much time as possible on my grandfather’s farm 16 miles away in Staunton va. He had dairy and beef cows, pigs, chickens and great hunting wildlife on property. For the last twenty years I’ve been a farm Mgr for two thoroughbred farms , one was the Miller farm called Millrace Farm a 200 AC. 13 broodmare homebred operation in Boyd’s Md and a 200 AC crop and hay farm in lovettsville Va . Unfortunately the millers passed away and the two sons did not want too continue either operation , I then Went to work for a rich couple as their farm Mgr. spending spring and Summer in NH on a 200 cross country breeding operation and wintering in Aiken SC . In 2015 I was in a freak accident that laid me Up for 1 1/2 yrs to recover. I am looking for an opportunity to continue the farm living and growing veggies and chickens and open to other possibilities. I would love to move back to Va as it’s a great state to live.
