We moved into our new home in Camp Verde, AZ in July. In one of the 2 gardens had a fan shaped multi-leaf plant. They stayed green all winter (only got down to 22° F). They have what appeared to be bulbs, but have a fairly significant root structure growing down from the bulbs. They seem to spread by extending the bulblike structure. They also have a significant mass of tiny roots, to catch more water, I guess.
The leaves come out from a central structure, are flat and thin, almost like some cacti.
What does it appear to be?
