My experiments with solar PV cooking have led me to be efficient with them- 6amp max 12v for bread,pasta,beans, boil 1/4 chicken,fry and brown <cup size chunks of meat no problem.
PTC heaters are the trick- these ceramic wonders self regulate their heat output.
My 50w 12v 260degc heaters were 3x $2= $6, 8 years ago
They run 6-8 hours every day.
240w solar browns flatbreads and yeast breads in summer takes an hour, no problem.
I'd love there to be a workable hho solution for cloudy days, to 'store' excess solar but the physics seems against us.
