I love all of the informed replies here and yet I have to agree with you here. I looked up the question “can turmeric make my inflammation worse? “ this is because I have had problems with inflammation since 2015 and I keep coming back to turmeric/curcumin because it is so highly recommended. The problem is, when I take it or cook with it I have a wild inflammatory reaction. Several brands and/or just cooking with curry powder over the years. I made an amazing curry stew tonight and I am up at midnight as we speak because the inflammatory response is so strong. I have pain down my neck and arms. I’ve had the same reaction occasionally with potatoes and more often with tomatoes. But this seems so backwards. Maybe I’m just simply allergic to it for some reason.
