It's from justins channel i did get the idea. Indead every method have good and down sides. But because i love chickens and breed with chicken this method could be a good option. Maybe are layer pellets an option. A gag of normal chicken feed cost me about 10 euro, layer pellets around 13-14 euro, both 20 kilogram. Woodchips is between 15 and 30 euro per cubic meter in bulk, and i do think to expensive in Belgium. Maybe the soil quality is better with woodchips, but chickens do remove the pests in a garden. And feeding garden/ kitchen waste makes chicken keeping even cheaper.
Just to be sure, layer pellet can it sprout in the garden?
