I agree with the one person in that thread about using sand in your soil mix.  But if you have acceptable soil you can stick them right in the ground now.

Hi Anne!  You can stick them in the ground now if its not frozen.  Or yes you can nurse until spring with fresh water.

Hello growers!  I'm in the middle of pruning my little elderberry nursery.  I grow a newer variety called "Marge".  Marge are drought resistant,
disease resistant, don't run, biggest berries of all cultivars.  The drought we had a few weeks in the summer of 2024 in Pa. didn't phase these girls!

You can buy them at my website.  https://elderwolfgardens.com/
They will be fresh cut.  Keep drinking your syrup!

Hi fellow sewers!  I just stumbled over 50# of vintage made in USA buttons that have been laying around our shop for several yrs. from a previous company.  Anyone looking for some beautiful vintage buttons please message me.  Most are smaller
ranging between 10-14mm diameter and 1-2mm thick.  I do have some bigger diameters up to 1.5" too.   Mother of pearl, 2 tone, 2 hole, 4 hole, shank buttons, etc.  Alot are Namm Singer.
And on a side note, the family is selling the union t-shirt and sweatshirt business.  Its in Pottstown, Pa.  If anyone is interested in buying
the t-shirt business called Lifewear, please message me!  Could make some serious money if near the city.  There's enough machines to entertain
over 25 women.  They make tshirts, sweatshirts, turtlenecks, underwear.  The building is being bought out and the business must be moved to new location.

That is really neat to have an elderberry nursery. I'll be looking more into the plants because I might have to try growing one...

Hi Tim!  I drink elderberry syrup every morning.  Its made with honey and essential oils.  Say bye bye to those seasonal colds!
Elderberry wine is really good too!  There's so many recipes i havent tried yet!

Thanks in advance for your suggestions,  but I am not looking for commercial source for these. I want to buy them from a permie.

Hi Fred, I have a small elderberry nursery in Gilbertsville Pa.  I only grow a variety called "Marge" and i love them!  They have big berries,
disease resistant, and stay compact, dont run.  They get huge clusters of flowers which are highly sought after for the medicinal benefits
and appetizers.
This is my website you can buy different sizes.  Enjoy!
