When designing a property, we always start with Sector Analysis (Sun, Wind, Water flow). But it takes a full year of observation to really know the invisible sectors like "Prevailing Wind" or "Micro-climate Phenology".
My wife (GIS PhD) and I built a tool to digitize this Sector Analysis specifically for bees. It helps you decide: "Should I put the apiary in Zone 1 or Zone 2?" based on 10 years of satellite data.
It calculates:
Wind Sector: Days with wind >25km/h (The invisible yield killer).
Sun/Phenology: When does the forage actually peak in your specific micro-climate?
