Hi Susanna, we are just starting to explore this possibility and I saw your post. We are looking for someone who is interested in a rustic bunkhouse or having a parking space for their own self-contained trailer. We are in So Oregon on 40 acres with BLM on 2 sides. There are 4 of us living here, hubby, daughter, granddaughter and me. We have animals and hope to travel, so there's the rub.
We need someone who is dependable that we can trust to keep the homestead running. We have dogs, cats, deer, goats, rabbits, chickens, occasional bear and cougars. We have a rough garden with PLENTY of space for more and fruit trees. Winter here is mild, but we do get snow for a few days to a week at a time. Haven't had to use chains yet, but it's a possibility. If this sounds like something you may be interested in, please let us know.
