The occasion definitely changes my choice. A cold beer after a long day is hard to beat, while wine with dinner or a cocktail during a night out has a completely different feel. I’m more interested in enjoying the drink and the conversation than drinking to excess. I recently came across The Smoking Gun while browsing their
website, and it reminded me how much the setting can influence the whole experience. Give me a good drink, decent food, and friends to share it with, and I’m happy.
