2 years ago I planned to build a greenhouse to help extend the season in the cold mountains of Montana. After researching and listening to Paul's complaints about the high maintenance of greenhouses in this climate of constant heating and cooling, I decided to add a passive solar sunroom onto the house. Boy am I happy with it, so I add my recommendation to Woody Chain's for passive solar house additions for mountainous Zone 4.

I will have to research further, but I heard that the nanoparticles of silver in these cloths are not all the environmentally friendly.  Nanoparticles, even out of benevolent elements are a big unknown and have so much destructive potential.

Big thanks for video of the portable RMH.  Should the duct work be kept away from moisture when using the rocks and bricks as the mass in a greenhouse situation?  I have lots of rocks and not much clay, so one built like your portable RMH would be easier.

I am planning to build a rocket mass heater for a small greenhouse here in the mountains up the West Fork of the Bitterrooot.  I ordered Ianto's book (I worked at Aprovecho way way back) and am anxious to see your results by video, since I won't make it to Missoula anytime soon. 

Hope I can bother all of you with a bunch of questions, but I'll read the book first.
