Hi Toby, what would be your recommendations on how to approach a local County Board on the possible development for one of their properties for a small forest garden/community garden? Where I live our County has about a 2 acre lot that they do nothing on except mow the grass, and allow the kids in the area to play baseball on. I would like to ask the for permission on developing it and trying to raise the money for it. Any tips? Thanks!

How long typically does the drum last before it needs to be replaced? Or does it ever?

I also live in Michigan and have been running 2 horses and 1-4 cattle on pasture that is not great. The weeds are still king, anyway it is getting better. My question is can I just over seed these pastures in the spring and fall to put in more grass seed, and what would be your recommendation on the type of seed to use. Thanks!
