August 5th to August 16th 2014

Learn from Master Permaculturist and Revolutionary Farmer Sepp Holzer at his new farm, the Holzerhof. This project has been largely unmanaged since the initial installation 10 years ago, yet Sepp's food forest has matured into a bountiful and beautiful landscape. It provides a living example that working with nature is the path to an abundant paradise.

This is followed by a trip to the Krameterhof for a day with Josef (Sepp's son). These models of Holzer Permaculture provide living examples of the abundance, health, and beauty that we can create on our planet. Anyone would feel fine living this way, nobody has to starve.

The concludes with 5 days with Permavitae, taking what we've learned and putting it into action planning a landscape. We visit a traditional building museum and have a lesson on no treatment beekeeping in the Alps. We will learn how to make a natural log hive, and the best approaches for natural ways to keep bees. We’ll learn how to use and maintain a scythe, enhance seasonal fruits of nature and wild game, traditional shoe-making and more.

Course price includes stays at wonderful bed & breakfasts, meals and transportation.
