Forest Journey Trailer

Check out my friend's video, please like and comment.
~Namaste

From the creator-"This is just a trailer to see if there is interest in me putting time into making the full 30 days movie, a comprehensive video that will show how to clearly identify and give nutritional information for plants and mushrooms. It is possible to go out in the woods for an extended period of time and survive as a vegan. Don't let anyone tell you differently. Some of us can thrive in the wild and get all of our nutritional needs met while having a symbiotic relationship with the ecosystems. You need not get your protein from a soy plantation that destroys the rain forest or other ecosystem. Sometimes the plants people identify as "weeds" that you might pull up in your own garden can have more nutrition then they vegetables you might plant. Just get out side and learn from the greatest teacher of all, nature."

Aho,

Disclaimer-I type a lot. I am more articulate on paper. Still able to hold an intelligent conversation in person; unless you require a call/response type of dialogue. Then I would suggest we partake in contra dancing instead

After communing with higher self, I realized that dating websites (okcupid, match, etc) were not the most conducive outlets, nor a healthy direction in the quest to find a life partner with similar values, morals, and beliefs. There are some lovely people and stalkers on these sites =/. My spiritual guides kept informing me that wasn’t the route for me to take. So, now I’m changing direction to the east wind, receiving love from all directions. A little about that which is I Am: 29 yr old (I look fairly young, I get mistaken for early twenties),youthful Afro-American woman, defies most societal norms, low key activist who believes in order to enact change, it must start within first, nurturing womb, would love to have seeds (kids), observant (some people mistake this for shyness or as being an introvert),loquacious (but only on paper, in writing), amicable, eclectic, abstract (thought patterns, different view), musical appreciator and semi musician, teaching myself frame drum, played clarinet as a youth, see beyond the delusional veils of capitalism/society, law of attraction is the Truth, resilience nature is ingrained, and I Am a blossoming Flower. I have a fairly silly sense of humor. I like to hug, be affectionate; we are all reflections of each other.

I rarely drink, unless its mead or fermented wine/beer. I don’t smoke, tobacco that is. I don’t need a tv nor own one, but that doesn’t mean we can’t watch a doc on Netflix or culture unplugged, engage in convo, listen/dance to some world tune or intrinsically tune into the matrix of creation. I like a lot of different music, varied palate from Rising Appalachia, mantras of Krishna and Deva Premal, sitar virtuoso Ravi Shankar, to chill out Mum, Portishead, Nightmares on Wax and iconic Bob Marley. Those closest to me, say I possess wise insight; I feel it is the Anahata, an ardent soul. I AM LOVE, we all are, a lover, a healer, a student of Gaia, E=mc2. We are etheric beings of light! Loving all brothers and sisters. I studied psychology and sculpture in college, isn’t really applicable in regards to this, but I think it provides insight into my observational and artistic personality. I’m a creative, introspective, mellow sister who likes to do draw, read; mostly sci-fi, spiritual, homestead books, cook vegan meals, explore sacred geometry, herbalism, crafts, especially primitive crafts such as basketry and weaving, enjoys drawing, sculpting and interested in learning earthen pottery, bio-intensive farming, forest gardening, and Fukuoka no-till methods.

*I am open to men of all nationalities.* I’ve previously dated outside of my race and have been in three serious relationships. I attune to the Vedic spiritual energy of person; whereas the color of their skin is irrelevant. Not particular fond of marriage, but do believe in the concept of a committed partnership. All of my past relationships consisted of monogamy, but I am open to either monogamy or polyamory with the right person. I've been in relationship with great guys; each relationship has provided introspective lessons. What I realized is that we did not have similar life objectives, if we did; the Universe was showing us that it wasn’t aligned at that particular moment.

An inspiring Buddhist, but for the time being I would consider myself spiritual. In my youthful naiveté, wanted to take the vow of chastity and become nun. What I’ve come to realize is that I aspire to live a simpler way of life.Plain and simple. Nature is the wisest teacher, watching the cloud patterns, the lunar cycles, Fibonacci sequence, DNA activation, and Flower of life, which is embedded in every aspect of humanity. We are the UNIVERSE, we are the LIGHT! The Amish way of life has always appealed to me from an early age, before I knew about spirituality, homesteading and intentional communities. I contemplated joining the Amish after graduating highschool. Reflecting back, I don’t think I could adhere to their rigid religious practices, but I admire the simplicity of living off the land. Thankfully, college (more so the people, then the institution) broadened my scope on the world and I now have a better idea of how to be a steward of the earth, honoring the tribe.

I’m in the beginning stages of <urban> homesteading, acquiring the skills, knowledge and activating the inner wisdom. Which is necessary in order to eventual live off the grid on micro homestead with a clean water source, envisioning fruit and nut trees, a veganic farm on a couple acres, with a little cob house built with love. Saving money towards purchasing land. I visualize this daily. Positivity, abundance, the universe provides what we need. I am casting pure intentions out into the universe, in order to align with a Gentle man of similar vibrational aspirations; tuned into the amalgamation of truth, a purveyor of knowledge. I’m located in metro GA, if you live in the surrounding area of GA or other southern states (NC, SC, FL,TN, AL) that would be great. As far as age, I’ve dated men younger and significantly older than me, so age is not a major issue, but I feel it necessary to state I am not pursuing men over 55.

Consulting w/a Reiki healer made me aware of the karma in my past life. Last year I suffered from a severe allergic reaction after visiting a friend in NC, which reaked havoc on my immunity. I am sharing this, to inform anyone reading this, that healing starts with oneself, it starts from within. Even though it was a very scary encounter, it has proven to be a cathartic experience. It has given me clarity into how I can be a steward to GEB (earth) and to take better care of my living vessel, taking steps of awareness, in order to diminish the Ego and live in harmony with Being. Currently, working on healing the trinity: mind, body and spirit. I am trying to incorporate meditation and yoga practices, if not daily, weekly. Sometimes the mind wanders, slowly bringing focus back to breath. I have been a vegan for three years, still learning about nutrition and incorporating what I learn. Learned that B12 is essential! Would be awesome if the gentle men were a veg (vegetarian, vegan, raw foodist).

During the past few years, I’ve become more involved in learning earth skills or ancestral skills in order to become self-sustaining and to properly utilize natural resources. Trees, plants, and fungi are extensions of the womb, each with unique healing properties. There are fruit trees bustling with delicious fruits, beckoning us to taste her nectar. I am an urban forager, people react to me strangely, and are either intrigued or mortified. Doesn’t bother me much. from an early age I’ve had a propensity towards what others consider strange. Currently reading & learning from Juliette de Baïracli Levy and Art of Fermentation. Inspirations are Susun Weed, 7song (got to take one of his classes at a gathering =) and Doug Elliot, and all the sage elders of the world. Interest include herbalism, knitting (teaching myself),chakras, divination,FERMENTATION (would love to make this a business, incorporating art into the mix!), gardening/veganic farming. I have been attending gatherings, learning from various reading books, websites, looking at forums (which lead me to this site), absorbing all the knowledge I can.

Transitioning from major dependencies; I ride a bike and/or use public transit. Future rural residency compels me to learn how to drive. Although I do not currently own a car, ideally would like to convert a future car to bio-diesel. When it comes to work ethic, I believe one must be present, diligent and in accordance with the land, by listening to her heartbeat. Not working against her, stripping the mother of her gifts, similar to what the proposed TPP plans to do. This alludes to the decimation of natural resources, increased surveillance of citizens, pharmaceutical dependency, and contamination of organic crops w/GMO seeds. Why all the greed? Why not look at how indigenous societies have functioned and are still harmoniously functioning, living in conjunction with the land. Using what they need from the resources provided. Interested in learning how to make a structure built from recycled or natural materials, humanure, grey water, harness energy from the wind, sun or water. I helped a friend insulate his barn with hay, looking forward to doing this with my own structure. The trees speak to us. I believe in signs, some may call it paranormal, but our higher selves are always looking out for what is best for the highest good. My goal is to transition out of the corporate job, which I am presently thankful for, but it is one I do not want to be further indebted to.

Currently I grow organic food on my balcony, consume green smoothies, sometimes I sprout. Overall I try to live a sustainable life by eating healthy, recycling, composting, reducing carbon footprint. Hey, we all gotta start somewhere. I’ve considered WOOFING, leaving my job, interning on farms, traveling the land, exploring, learning ancestral skills, and absorbing the wisdom. Nothing is stopping me, at all. Just somewhat hesitant, would love to woof with a partner or a brother/sister friend. All the information I'm encountering regarding homesteading, permaculture, ethnobiology, kemetics, eastern spirituality, plant dyes, hydro power, solar, etc, has my head expanding! I'm so eager to learn, listen and commune with others and nature. Slowly living a life off the grid is starting to manifest. Just taking small steps at the moment, implementing what I am learning on a miniature scale.

I am putting this post out there with good vibrational intentions, someone who is also beginning the journey or submersed, growing in their endeavors, and continuously embracing Gaia. Would love to share this experience of life with a spiritual being, who is vibrationally on similar frequencies. Is also concerned about the environment, spiritual, funny, intelligent, has similar interest and intentions of eventually building a homestead or living in an eco intentional community. Being one with the land.

If you feeling the awesome vibes, please feel free to PM me for my email address and if you would like to exchange pics. Seeds have been sown, now let’s become. One
