We've been working with moringa since 2001. You are correct in that as soon as you can harvest mature seed pods, you can press the seeds for oil. Some trees bear seed pods within the first year, it all depends on the climate and conditions. We have recently started pressing oil using the Piteba oil press. Seeds to Oil in 4 Easy Steps. We got approximately 12% oil by weight. The oil is a beautiful golden color with a nutty flavor.
