Hey everybody,
I'm having trouble tracking down what specific variety of chenopodium is in the picture. It's much taller than the other goosefeet around here, standing at about 7 ft, and has long branches rather than the tapered shape of some of the other ones. I think what mostly grows around here are chenopodium album and chenopodium murale.
The collection of seeds at the top are from this unknown chen., while the ones below are from regular 'ole goosefoot. The mystery seeds are much larger and have a case - excuse the lack of technical language -that is substantially larger as well. The leaves, obviously, are pretty distinct looking as well, being smooth on the margins except for the two lobes, which persist in all but the smallest leaves.
Also, while it's pertinent, are there any good websites that detail different species in large, common genuses like chenopodium? I'm new to all this and can't seem to find any good ones xD
