Hi we are building a 2.5metre by 3.5metre building to try out our building techniques and have as a test structure. We are wanting to put it up in 1 to two weeks and are having mixed opinions on which is quickest. We will go for a rubble trench approx. 50cm deep, line it with tarp and then put posts in either rubble/concrete, and then frame it from there and put a roof. The next step we are thinking straw to form walls and so as not to take too much time.
Does anyone have any idea on where is good information for building a simple structure and roof as we have never built one before.
We have a very basic idea of framing, and are studying and are looking for good info sources.
What would be the quickest set up for the walls, straw, cob, cob + rock, cob bricks?
Keeping in mind we also want to keep the cost below 2 to 3 thousand and we don't need to pay labour, as we have friends involved.
