Update.
They were not eating and hardly drinking. I've been putting honey in their mouths so absorb some sugar and forcing 20ml at a time of some electrolyte in molasses.  Really no improvement. Still refused food and took maybe 5 sips of water all day.

I just went and decided to try straight dextrose syrup I have on hand. Holy moly it was a matter of minutes before they were all up and drinking and nibbling on food.

One vomited up undigested corn from a meal two days ago.  All signs are pointing to vomitoxin/corn mycotoxin.  Poor lads.  Hopefully they're on their way to recovery. I'll be out there every couple of hours to give a bit more dextrose and electrolytes. 🤞

Called the vet. She also thinks it's likely from the corn. She said she has little she can give except for NSAIDs but to give them another day or two to try to improve.
This morning they won't eat and are drinking very little but they're walking around miserably.
Hopefully they pull through or I'll have a very expensive weekend-vet call to get her out here with some meloxicam.
Thanks for the help!

Very unlikely.

You're thinking along the same lines as me -thats why I removed the corn.
But three guys seem totally fine. The sick three look...miserable. You can see it in their eyes.
Just to add a layer of stress I now see one walking with his head down and tilted. *Sigh*

I have 6 gilts, 7months old. They've been great and strong and happy. Fed milk from my cow and hog grower pellets.

5 days ago one vomited his undigested dinner when we went to feed at breakfast. We isolated him. He seemed to get a bit better but he's still lethargic and not eating much. Drinking fine. Doesn't seem to be hot but too energetic for me to get a proper temp.  Now two more are showing the same signs. They didn't even want milk.

We introduced cracked corn a week ago because they're going to slaughter in one week!
I've now removed the corn in case that's what has caused this. Any tips? How do I help these boys? I think I need to delay slaughter?

Hey Richard,
Just read this thread and I'm wondering what the top horizontal pipe is for? It's not on any of your diagrams. Where/what does it connect to?

My neighbour just built herself a greenhouse where her chickens used to be housed. She informed me that she's now watering the whole ground inside with peroxide to help kill off any molds or fungi because they're very common issues in greenhouses.
I questioned her about soil diversity and killing it off. She says it's actually beneficial and also puts oxygen into the soil.

Anyone heard of this?
