Wanted to post (albeit far from the original post date in 2019 but just now seeing) - that we have a house built in 1901 on Locust Tree posts in NC. When we had it inspected 14 years ago, they raved about how great they were. Just yesterday, we had a contractor, who we are talking with about an addition, rave about how sound the old two story house is and how impressed he is by no sagging or foundation issues. 🤷♀️ Just had to share since it seemed pertinent.
