howdy,

Come, you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death planes
You that build all the bombs
You that hide behind the walls
You that hide behind your desks
I just want you to know
Know, know, know
I can see through your masks

Howdy,
I also am noticing a huge decline in wild mushrooms here where I live in Southern Oregon. I believe it is from extreme changes in the weather. Climate change?
Friends of mine that get out more have been finding more morels in the burn scars of the big wildfires over the past few years. Also the rain forest along the coast seem to still be a good wild mushroom hunting area.

More news reports of people becoming lost here looking for mushrooms this past year.

Howdy,
Today, I am baking a Hubbard Squash pie from Hubbard Squash I grew.  Will be attending a Pie Party, 5p.m. @ the Frog Farm, Takilma, Oregon. Will take my Dobro and maybe play and sing a little music, drink homemade wine.

Howdy,
off grid since 1980(+/-)  Year round creek thru property with small scale hydro. Some solar panels added in 1990. When I bought this property (1978) the power company wanted 3x the price of property to bring power up here, $32,000.  It's 40 acres of Oregon Mtn land, end of steep driveway, with borders on BLM and USFS land.  I am 73 and may be getting to old for this, have no idea where I could/would move to. I do like it here! PEACE, nature and solitude.

Howdy,
Look up,    auto diagnostic code reader

I bought one of these,     https://www.harborfreight.com/obd2-code-reader-64981.html?gQT=1

I was given a 1998 Subaru legacy outback w/AWD.  Leaky head gaskets at 174,000 miles. I replaced them myself, among other things. I should be able to get over 300,000 miles on this vehicle. I do most of the mechanical work myself. This is the first total computer sensor vehicle I have owned.  These new vehicles need a good strong battery to work. That is where I would start.  After all the work I have done on this Subaru, the "check engine light" is still on. Car runs very well and I get 22-23 MPG. Do the easy stuff first.
