Chimney sweep at my place last Fall had his brush attached to a plumber's snake, and powered it with a cordless drill. Our flue from the wood stove in basement makes a 120 degree turn up into the chimney. I can't clean the system with conventional rods, also looking to see if anyone's had success with the plumber's snake method. Would like to pick one up, but want to be sure I don't buy the wrong item.
Any tips appreciated.
