I'm in portland on a very small lot currently with some planting beds and working on getting a little fruit production goin. Have various amounts of experience in the past, but nothing too extensive.
We are looking at "recreation" property to eventually be "retirement" property and thinking about what/how we'd want to build. (coastal area, good southern exposure, etc...). passive solar heat on a southern facing slope is one of my main targets.
I'd love to meet others. My main area of research at the moment is the RMH design and build. If someone else is doing a RMH build in the area, I'd be very interested in helping with one at some point.
