I am trying to find a decking preservative with based on linseed oil I can make.
I have been told putting BLO, mineral turpentine, UV blockers, (soap?) into an aqueous solution means you can apply a thin layer.
Natural finish, enhance grain, dries in a couple hours.
Great for grip tread finish as this is where a decking oil would tend to pool.
Just a general quick drying deck preservative.
Any suggestions?
