Wow! That was 11 years ago! I am still on my peace of gorgeousness and MUCH has been achieved in this over a decade.
2 horses, 3 cats, 5 dogs, (all rescues bar 1), 6 jungle fowl, 8 chickens and many organic vegetables. Fenced over the years using local invasive trees and our own forest, which supplies much of our firewood. We use the Japanese technique of shou sugi ban to treat our wood poles and latte. Portable mesh tunnels keep monkeys, dogs and chickens at bay. Solar and gas supplies the house though we have a hybrid system which uses grid electricity if needed, and our wood burning, closed, interior fire is a dream in our chilly winters. My farmette/farmling is peaceful, abundant, regenerative in many ways, a place where Mother Earth/Gaia/Nature is loved and honoured.
