I have three Paulownia trees that have bark peeling. I'm wondering if anyone has had this issue. The trees are 7 years old and have shed a lot of dead branches over the years. Last year I pruned quite a lot of dead wood off. The part of the tree that has peeling bark is the oldest part. Would it be that it's normal for this part of the tree to have its bark peel off? The new side shoots do not have this problem.
