When we moved into our place there was an old peach tree in front of the barn that was rotting. Some years later there's quite a lot of growth coming from about 18 inches away from the roots, and as far as I know it's Peach. Not sure what the old tree died of, but it was definitely consumed by a fungus or two as you can see in the picture.
Do you think it will be okay to take cuttings from this new growth?
If so, any other top tip on doing it well would be appreciated.
