I have no idea what pigaloos are. I joined a Facebook group for cuy/guinea pigs & only got one answer that male and female guinea pigs can live together. Then that member said I could message them with other questions. I am not big on messaging people I don't know. lol I left that group. Figured this place is better.

I am looking at building 2 two tier rabbit cage. One for rabbits & another for guinea pigs. It has three cages on top and on the bottom. My question:
What wire gauge do I need for guinea pigs? Bottom & sides. I do plan on installing metal sleeves/sheets along the wood for both.
I have more questions about guinea pigs...
Do you take the female guinea pig to the male cage for mating, like a rabbit doe to the buck's cage?
Can you use their manure for gardens?
Can you tan guinea pig pelts/hides?
What age to process them for my dog? She will be going on a raw diet soon (quail, rabbits and guinea pigs).
