I checked the RHS website and they do say that Yaupon holly ought to be hardy in the UK. But don't list any nurseries at the moment (they can be a handy source of where to look). I did find it at botanical plant nursery website who appear to be based in Suffolk, might be worth a try - it doesn't look like they do mail order, but if you are South coast not so far for you. Good luck!

How did you find that one by the way? It's never come up in any of my searches.

I'm a little confused as to why there are no plants here :/

I am not sure it is only about how cold it gets.

How warm are the springs and how many growing months?

It is a native plant here in Texas.  Where I live it can get colder than the temps you posted though the next day the temps might be quite warm.

Maybe one of our members can send you some seeds?

Best wishes for your search.

I should have mentioned I've got some seeds, but I'm very impatient and they seem to take up to two years to germinate .
In South devon springtime hovers around 12ish degrees c /53f and the average growing season is 250ish days.
I figured perhapse nobody really grows it because they think it makes you throw up and we've alread got faster growing hedging alternatives.

Hey Folks.
Does anyone know where I can find Yaupon holly/Ilex Vomitoria plants or cuttings n the uk?
Nurseries in the US and Europe stock plants but won't ship here unfortunately
I have some seeds but they can take up to two years to germinate and longer to mature and I'm quite impatient
I'm sure there must be some somewhere in the UK and I would be eternally greatful if someone can point me in the right direction.
All the best to you all
