In my neck of the woods (Missouri), I have it, my neighbors have it and by neighbors-neighbors have it. I've also tried everything. I've moved on trying to rid myself it and moved toward living with it (or should I say, working around it). I now have a few 4x8, 4" concrete pads with 24" raised beds on them as well as a few 2x8, 4"pads with 24" raised beds that are crossed with cattle panels for vine crops. So far this seem to do the trick. Still have to weed around the bases (ensure the grass doesnt grow tall enough to climb up and under the bed borders and the rare seed can blow in, easy to catch though)
