Hi, friends.  This is my first post here, although I've been following permies.com for a couple years.  Love it!

My husband Jay and I have a lovely farm (not growing anything currently) with 5-acres of irrigation systems, a greenhouse, raised beds, paddocks and stalls, a "Chicken Hilton," and within the last decade raised 4.5 tons/year of lovely vegetables and managed a herd of 22 alpacas, plus sheep, chickens, turkeys, ducks ... a real community undertaking. Lately we've built a 700-sq. ft. section off the main house with a lovely big patio to live in, leaving the main old farmhouse looking to be a home with new energy.  Additionally we have a couple small RV trailers, and we'd like to have someone living in the trailer on a work/home exchange.

We're seeking folks who'd like to farm this irrigated 5-acre land/greenhouse, have fowl or livestock, and live onsite.  There are several thriving farmers markets in nearby Prescott area, Sedona, and Flagstaff, and we'd welcome Farmers Market folks who want to support themselves through their farm products.

The house is a large (~1500 sq. ft.) one-bedroom/bath with big porch, upstairs deck and fenced backyard with more raised and irrigated beds.  We live in an adjoining small casita, sharing the laundry room.  References are required, Spanish speakers welcomed.

The rent for the home is  $1,000/month plus $200 utilities, and that includes all the gardening spaces, paddocks, greenhouse, etc.  Currently they are not being used, and that hurts my heart; as a retired national park ranger, I want to steward this land and see it loved, farmed, and prospering in crops and critters.

And yes, we'd be interested in working out special arrangements to pass this property on to special someones who are "doing their thing" and caring for the land; hopefully at a profit to them!

Sound interesting?  I'll be checking this post for responses, and my email is: lifesongsrc@gmail.com.  (...Not too sure yet how to find responses to this post onsite).  See the two documents below for photos and an idea of what we have here.
