So happy to hear another gardener praising the work of ants. I wrote a post after watching a double line of ants, one line crawling up my 6’ sunflowers, the other line crawling down, each with an aphid in its mouth. We can learn so much by observing natural systems. Ants are very important in pest management and soil aeration.
