I know this is an older thread, but I am just seeing it. I currently have Soay and Ouessant crosses. I actually just crossed Ouessant and Soay! Soay do lose their wool, but you can still shear or roo them and use it. Ouessant need to be shorn. I am not sure how the crosses will turn out since they are just now being born.
