I have had an unusual experience with cabbage. I like burying kitchen scraps in my garden to feed the worms and make my soil richer. I've found that my buried scraps have produced so much food for me; it's really amazing. I've gotten lots of spaghetti squash, cantaloupe and currently another squash, the musquee de Maroc grew from seeds in my scraps and is producing lots of squash. But I buried the core part of a cabbage and it grew two heads of cabbage. I decided to cut them, but leave the root and what I guess would be a stem in the ground. Currently I have 5 cabbages growing from the 2 in the form of like a 5 petal flower. So far, from that buried core, I've gotten 7 cabbages!! I'm of course going to cut the cabbage the same way I did last time and observe what happens.
