With 200.00 I would buy four more young chickens, not chicks, and four bags of organic chicken feed.
With 1000.00 I would probably invest in putting a new roof on our small off grid cabin. It’s needed a new roof for a long time. I feel pretty good with my storage of dried beans if the SHTF, but another good idea is to buy live herbs for seasoning all the beans I will be eating.

I recently grew some broccoli from seed for the first time. The leaves are huge! I originally thought it was a cabbage of some sort. I was cutting off the leaves and stir frying them with eggs. I had no idea how good the broccoli leaves were or that was even a thing. Now I see the little broccoli. I’m thinking if I just keep cutting buts off it will continue to grow.
