This reply is so far down on the list no one will ever see it. But I have the best and fastest way to germinate peach seeds. It's not the easiest but it's not hard either. There is a lot you need to know about dormancy and cross pollination and chill hours. You can grow a peach tree from any peach seed but you may never see a peach on that tree if it is grown outside of it's zone. And you won't know that unless you got the peach seeds from the tree yourself. There is also the seed dormancy you need to know about. That's the reason for cold stratification.
Ok enough of that. Let's get to it. To speed up the stratification you trick the seed into thinking
It's been sleeping longer than it has been. Instead of waiting 60.to 90 days in the refrigerator it takes about 2 to 4 weeks in the refrigerator.. Crack open the pit and take out the seed soak in room temperature water for 8 hours then wrap in a damp paper towel and place in a ziplock bag for 2 weeks then if they have not sprouted peel off the brown skin and put them back in the refrigerator for 10 more days. Check every 10 days till they sprout in the refrigerator. Pot em up.
