Hello Permies. My name is Matt. I've been familiar with Permaculture for about 9 months now and it has in many ways started to put my crazy nebulous of ideas about life into focus. I started gardening when I lived in San Diego and started to get things rolling but renting and working 60 hours a week did not help. I moved to Vancouver BC, I was transferred by my company, and learned about Permaculture from a friend. Since then I've quit my job as a construction engineer (I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering) with the intention of seeing family in the States this summer and then hopping a cargo ship for Europe in the fall. I suppose what I'm seeking is general advice or "I really loved ____" stories from people who have wwoofed or farmed or did sustainability work in Europe.
I'm interested in learning languages, cultures, farming and getting my green on if you will. I'm a 26 year old man and strong like ox

I love to work and be outside, not that these traits are special among this forum, but since they are written, let them rest.
As my 1 hour of library computing time is almost up let me just say I'd love to hear people's stories of wwoofing Europe. I'll certainly perous the forums for old stories but if anyone has and up-to-date info that'd be sweet.
Thanks!
Matt
