What's wrong with the weeds?  Are they green?  If so, they coordinate perfectly!

I manually pluck the dandelions with my 2 (now 3) year old and spouse.  And what we miss the mower will get when they grow tall enough.  The clover is more durable than the blue grass which made up the majority of my lawn. 

I had new drain tile and some construction obliterate my lawn and weeds.  So I'll be re-seeding with pure tall fescue (Scott's Classic).  Once established, I'm going to be even more lazy.  It's just a lawn, not edibles at this point.

No Problem Paul!  Too bad the blooms on the wreck of a lawn look so much better.  Maybe next year we'll have an updated pic. 

So I have two things in the article now:  Crocuses and the Neuton?  Wow!  A small trade for leading me on the path to a much better way of lawn care.  Thanks!!!

Update:  Did some work on the house, which took out the lawn.  Getting help on regrading the yard (back is much worse... back-hoes leave trenches...), and planing with just tall fescue seed.  But here's the crocuses, gives ya something to look at even if you have bare dirt: 

The way I did it was I put tall fescue grass seed in a bucket, put in a lb of the MycoGrow for lawns in said bucket, and then mixed in compost.  When it was half full, I transferred into a wheel barrel and added more compost till it was majority compost.  Then I laid out on bare patches, stomped on and watered.  It grew amazingly well with little water (because I kept forgetting). 

I'd show pictures except the Bobcat with backhoe attachment took it out, and covered it with rocks, clay and dirt from 7ft down (new drain tile around house).

So my organic lawn is down there under a couple inches.  Sigh.  Time to re-read the how to reseed posts!  But I will do my MycoGrow steps again, at least for parts of the lawn and let it do it's magic over the coming decade.

Best part with the battery rotaries, when you get to a stick, there is no quick stop + stomach trauma.

I have one, for a couple years now.  They have a newer model with a 19" width, vs my 13".  I don't mind though, just more walking.  Come spring, the only thing to do is sharpen the blade, put in a battery (I leave them on the charger over the winter), and away you go.  I also have the weed wacker attachment, a bit bulky but does the sidewalks and the edging pretty well.

The cheapest I found Ringers is $29 per bag. That's expensive. I have 90,000 sq ft! That's 40 bags  . If anyone has a source to buy this cheaper please let me know!

Ask your local ACE Hardware how much a skid of SKU#75867 will run ya.    I found one internet ACE selling for $19.99 for a single bag.  Your local ACE means free shipping to the store, a big plus in the US Ton range of product. 

You could try sending a note to the folks at info@fungi.com (they are a retail shop but kind and helpful) and see if it is something they know of.  Looks like a slime mold more than a fungus.
