I am 27 years old. I own 5 acres, and a tree service, construction, and landscaping company here in Washington State. I have been homesteading here for 3.5 years.

I am working towards buying more land. Business is going great! We are building an off-grid farm, wilderness sanctuary, and hippy/healing retreat.

Right now, it is mainly just me, building this from scratch. I am working on the first tiny house now. We should have a well by next year. We currently get water from the neighbor's and we harvest from a local artisan well. We have 2 seasonal streams that dry up in summer, but are already flowing strong again.

There are elk, deer, coyote, foxes, wood peckers, owls, eagles, Hawks, and much much more.

An intern/apprentice could start with a 1 month agreement. 2-3 meals a day, plus housing in exchange for 3 hours work each day. If a lot gets done, there is a 50$ a week stipend, and an opportunity to make 15$/hr for one day a week doing landscape work, and another 100-150$ for a day helping do tree work.

The right person could make 1000$+ a month while helping to build a farm,  and living cost free.
Additionally, I am willing to pay 1/2 tuition for martial arts classes if interested, and bring you to classes, as well as festivals and ecstatic dances I regularly attend.
There is a gas station 3 miles away and a Safeway, Walmart, and Fred Meyer within 15 min drive. National Forest a few miles away, a lake within 5 miles, and several 100+ft waterfalls nearby.  And a my Rainier view!

There is lots to learn from carpentry and construction, to tree service work and milling lumber, to farming, hunting, fishing, automotive work, and much more.
Really we are working towards a village/tribe/community, aiming to create art and shape culture while learning to live in harmony.
I have a lot of connections and can help you get your own piece of land in time.

My name is Henry I am 32, graduated college in civil then electronics engineering. I am 6’4” 200lbs and not afraid to lift 200lbs on my shoulders. I have tremendous perseverance and attention to detail when doing things I love, perma-farming being one, as it keeps me close to God. I am religious and live almost a Monastic life, outside a monastery. Pretty boring one may think, but God is my fuel and I can be out there working that field alone, I don’t care, I do it alone, just God and I! I love helping and this is great for me, and great for you because I truly know what I can offer to another human, and it’s a lot, much more than you expect, possibly mind blowing! I will make anyone’s life easier for sure, and not because I would try, but just because it’s who I am, I enjoy transforming with my hands, making things from bad to good again, to make someone worthless valuable, I rather dress up an old puppy pretty again then to breed another one.

Hello, I have posted this is a few forums and feel like we might be a good fit.
Beginner couple looking for a mentor and labor needed to barter for land.

We are a 22 and 25 year old couple (Anthony & Michayla) who is looking for land to live on in exchange for labor around the property, or any other work you may have for us. Anthony (25) has experience in pest control & some handy-man skills, but other than that we only have blue collar experience. We are hoping that through mentorship we can gain knowledge and eventually take on more responsibilities in exchange for a place on your property to build a tiny home or if not possible, just park a camper van. We are hoping that through this symbiotic relationship we can gain the hands on experience to begin our own homestead one day. We are quite, humble people with a sweet dog named Harper, who has more farm experience than we do (:

We look forward to connecting with all! New to this website so please reply by email mndeane1@gmail.com

Hello, i’m a 26 yearold man. I have been traveling the US for two consecutive summers looking for a community to learn and build with. I have knowledge of Harboring from a man who took me under his wing for a short time in Idaho were i grew up. I’m experienced in trenching and shoring as well as a season worth of ranching. I have spent alot of time in the great outdoors and love to be in the wild so to speak. I can easily pass a background and hold a job or a subcontracting position. My dream and goals align with off grid and sustainability. Please reach out to me lets talk more. 2082232779 or via email t.jb_21@yahoo

I am also curious to hear how the community and land is coming along.  Are you still looking for members and is there still paid work available?   This sounds like a beautiful opportunity and I hope things are going well for you!

I am 28, I have dozens of woodworking hand tools for handling green wood, felling trees, as well as working typical dried timber. I do not work with power tools (right now). I unfortunately don’t have green wood to practice on in the suburbs which is a huge goal of mine.

I have a book on building log homes  I’m learning from. Started our with focus on Japanese joinery but it’s hard to learn as a non-native.

My tropical garden is quite successful and while it’s not a homestead I’d imagine a lot of it would apply.

I am interested. Let me know where this stands!

I have severe social anxiety… I’d be looking to get to work quickly and be on my own.
