Hi, I'm from Montreal, I speak french and english. Currently visiting Ecuador.

Hardcore is the essence of me and ever since I can remember l daydreamed about an autarkic lifestyle... It's an instinct.

I want to live completely off the land, have a flock of sheep and grow fruit trees, work online, in a country where it is hot all year round.

Live by a clean river beach so we can bath in it, drink the pure water, build sandcastles and have bonfires with friends.

Live my anarcho-primitivism dream, I will build a leather tipi, make tools, clothes, dishes, by hand with primitive technology. Use fire to cook.

The only technology I want is solar panels for electricity to have an internet connection and to charge a cellphone and a laptop and a pickup to get around.

As I'm health minded and environment conscious, I'll only use natural products made by hand, natural materials, use a compost toilet… etc

My interests include yoga, meditation, visual art of all kinds, nutrition, painting, philosophy, cooking, psychology, reading, music, photography, cats, videotaping, and video editing.

Eventually start an intentional community, my brothers already want to join me.

To build a tribe of people with whom a share the moral valuing of peace over violence, for a life based on reciprocity, not exploitation.
That means to live in harmony with nature, not on it, but in it, like we used to.
To quit civilization, a culture saturated in power and hierarchy, because life is ultimately a cooperative process.
To take us down from our destructive perch as lords above and return us to our honest place in a circle.
To participate in the endless cycle of life, death and regeneration.
To value justice, humility, compassion to create a world of connection instead of domination.
To create a sustainable human culture, teach our children to protect and cherish the earth, our only home.

To leave modern society which is in the middle of a long, slow collapse. To create a self-sufficient community in rural area so that as Western culture continues to collapse, we aren't caught in the middle of it. To grow food without chemicals, to raise animals on pasture without grains, to respect nature as much as we can, and to improve ourselves as individuals and as a species, so that we don't just create another behemoth civilization full of evil that ends up destroying itself.

I'm polyamorous, I can't see myself in a monogamous relationship.

Throwing this out there, if it resonates with someone, if you want to live that lifestyle or already do, leave me your email and we'll see if we can click and manifest that beautiful life.

"To leave modern society which is in the middle of a long, slow collapse"

You are an absolute gem! I'm posting a response for encouragement (I'm in a very monogamous, happy relationship). A worthy partner will love everything you have said. If you ever come to the states and want to visit with some people like minded, send me a message. I also believe modern society is in the process of a death by a thousand cuts. In our attempt to make life more comfortable and easier, we have moved away from nature and as a result, destroyed the core connection with our mother earth that humans need in order to survive. I could talk about this for hours and the literal problems it creates entire communities.

cheers and good luck on your search!

Am not a good candidate (prefer monogamous relations) and live about as south as I would want to go.
But apart from the temperature, your lifestyle could work here. A very tolerant and freedom loving culture.

Do sheep and your preferred temperature work together?

Hi Esme,

I am not a good fit for a few reasons - namely the northern climate I'm in and that I'm more comfortable with monogamous relationships - but you seem like a beautiful soul who has big plans. Kudos to you. I'd be happy to get to know you though, because I don't know many young folks who are off the beaten path. We have quite a few common interests too despite our differences! Feel free to send me a purple mooseage if you want to chat.

Kind regards,

Cam

I have a place off the Coast of Nicaragua, small island, lot of what you are looking for but lot of what you are looking is unrealistic in some places.

Rains up to 200 inches a yr, maybe you can work solar magic, I have an electric line to my house, I get tired of not having ice.

Raise majority of my own food, trade/barter for what I don't grow. Feed my pigs 5 gallon buckets of mango & avocado during the season, banana & plantain yr round. Sheep & goats are hard on trees but I usually have a few.

3rd World Governments can be problematic.

4 minute walk to beaches. Someone young like you might enjoy it, I am currently in States enjoying 1st World problems.

I am jealous and happy for you because you are visiting Ecuador!  I spent 2 months there when I was 21, and fell in love with it.

You seem like a great fit for the community we want to build.  We’ve been looking for land in the Cumberland plateau region of Tennessee where we want to start a self sufficient artist’s community.  Some of us are poly as well!  I’d love to gush about Ecuador with you!

Well, it's nice to know there is still a woman remotely close to what I seek. I am 29, just got done paying off my 5 acres in Washington state.

Built a tiny house, have a flock of chickens and a few cats. Planted a food forest in special shapes and patterns. I hunt and fish, butchered an elk last year.

Now that I have created a home to return to, I am getting ready to do some travelling and see the world. I could see myself moving to a warmer more tropical region.

The only poly I would ever be down with is multiple women. I could never share the woman I love with anothet man. NO WAY

You seem like quite a woman...

Hello and thanks for your post,

We (my daughter and I), my x-wife and her sister are all farming in Thailand.  Produce and projects are currently just for us, but as we scale some produce can be given to our local temples.

We have a combined 4 acres on the beautiful island of Koh Chang, where it is easy to find a beach or a waterfall and where the nature and environment are mostly unspoiled by human activity.

The soils are rich and the weather is hot, very hot, or extremely hot, almost every day.  We are always happy to have visitors and much of what you are looking for is available here.

With the current Covid outbreak getting into Thailand is tricky and will remain so until the end of the year.  Should you wish to visit sometime in the future, please let us know.

Very best wishes with your search,

Simon.
