Hopeful Homesteading woman age 41 seeks partner (Tennessee)

My name is Christy and I am a 41-year old single mom to two great kids, ages (almost) 14 and 6. We live in Middle Tennessee.

I have always wanted to live off the land as much as possible- and while I am no spring chicken, I am not dead yet! So there is still time and I am still hopeful. I would love to find a good man and new best friend with whom to homestead and do life together.  

I love to garden and I have a huge one where I grow corn, beans, etc. We don't have any animals apart from a dog and cat, but I would like to have chickens and more. I am also interested in herbalism and natural medicine.

We live in the Murfreesboro, Tn area, where I earn a living as a High School Spanish teacher. I would be open to relocating if I find "my person".
