Hello Permies friends,

Sometimes I think life is a lot like tending a garden. You learn patience, you appreciate the seasons, and you discover that the most meaningful things grow with time.

My name is George. I’m someone who enjoys thoughtful conversations, peaceful environments, and the beauty of simple living. I admire mature women who carry wisdom, warmth, and kindness from their life experiences.

I would enjoy meeting a woman who believes that companionship, friendship, and laughter are some of the best parts of life.

If you feel like saying hello, I would be happy to hear from you. Sometimes the best connections begin with a simple message.

Warm wishes,
George

Hi!

How much office work made you end up on this forum?

LED lighting + meetings definitely sent me over the edge 🥴

Happy Thursday!

Hello George im perhaps a little late to this conversation.
Happy to converse, thankyou for your message.
Im , I think, i come across as a normal.person, sporty, healthy, sociable, so  no one would guess i have a hippie side.
I grew up fruit farming, in UK. then became a design consultant, but always very interested in autonomy by being in tune with nature. I went back to farming full time, in my 30s,  moved to France. Have managed 160 ha cattle farm and fruit conventionally while bringing up.my children.
Now at 59 yrs, I've downsized to just 33ha, with a small cattle and sheep herd , (grazing regeneratively) also chickens.and would love to exchange with people who could help me with motivation for creating a  food forest/ cooling trees gardens terrace around a small house ... ...also adapting a house for being autonomous in comfort and energy...
...is there anyone there, who perhaps comes from normal life perhaps even farming, who is also curious to potter along with a more logical future that calmly and patiently just  enjoys being in tune with and for what nature can do to support us... reduce the dependency on all the rubbish !!
Sorry , George, its a general.open question... perhaps to others too.
Im not strongly ideological, so prefer to be open to different points of view,  kindness  and curiosity rather than strong overwhelming  ideology.
There you go, my reply!
Good day to you, and anyone reading this
Regards
Louise

I miss the old days when I would think up a sinister scheme for world domination and you would show a little emotional support. So just look at this tiny ad:
Build a better world. Literally.
