I am a woman who wonders at all the wonders. I strive to have childlike wonder in every moment.

I live on 10 acres in the woods in Oregon off grid in a hobbit-like house that I built. I share custody of my 23-year-old son who is severely disabled, but happy all the time in a constant state of childlike wonder. He brings joy to all he meets. I bike as much as I can and only drive my truck when I need to.

I am a Jill of all trades, and I have been a farrier, archaeologist, occupational therapist, rustic furniture, builder, and now a homesteader. I love life with the ups AND downs. I live simply with some dogs, cats, chickens.

Here is what I value:

DAILY WORK, PLAY, AND REST: I schedule hammock time into each day but I love hard work too.

SIMPLE LIVING: I can live on less than $500 per month.

LIVING IN THE CYCLE OF NATURE: I live without electricity (minimal solar for charging phone) and I eat, sleep and exercise with the seasons. I compost toilet and collect rainwater.

SPIRITUALITY AND GROWING: I love earth school and learning to let go of my ego. I like to go deep.

HEALTH OF MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT: I eat whole food and plant-based and I cook the rainbow. I believe in the body’s ability to heal and natural remedies. I like to be fit but I don’t worry about it; it happens from the way I live life as a natural human.

SOBRIETY: I have done enough drugs and alcohol and been with enough alcoholics to know that I like myself and those around me better sober. I’ve never been accused of having inhibitions anyway.

UNITY NOT SEPARATION: my religion and politics can be summed up in two words: understanding and compassion. I believe in changing myself, not trying to change others.

FREEDOM: to make our own paths. I see through the bullshit of media, politics, Western medicine, and education. I let others find their own path too.

OLD CULTURE WAYS: sustainable ways with low tec but with some modern discoveries. I’m not a fan of AI.

ENJOYING LIFE: not taking anything too seriously.

Some of my favorite words:  simple, play, books, respect, honesty, silence, intimacy, passion, kindness, inconvenience

If you made it this far and share my values, let’s talk!

Water! People swim in water! Even tiny ads swim in water:
It's like being on a deserted island - only with gardens and natural buildings in Montana
