Extending the feeding discussion to feeding logistics, how to LGD owners manage feeding in remote pastures that cannot be visited daily? How does one protect feed from livestock or rodents while still accessible to dogs? Also, what kind of shelter, particularly in winter, is commonly provided in such cases?

I like the general idea of this DVD, but a quick search of YouTube finds many introductory welding and trailer vids. There may be other ways, but one way you might distinguish this product from all of these others is to focus on low cost, low input, versatile, homestead-useful welding projects (perhaps using unconventionally-sourced materials).

As for trailers, they are key to my work around my place. I only need to maintain one engine, but can haul a variety of specially purposed tool kits around easily. In fact, I like trailers so much that I'm with an earlier poster in wanting to live in a custom built trailer home. Therefore I would be keenly interested in anything along these lines that you guys might produce.

I think the following things:

If Permaculture is about anything, it's about respect: respect for the natural systems and cycles of the earth, life (even as we consume it), reality (a big one), etc.; but not least of all, the good in virtually all of us.

Following the Non-aggression_principle works just as well in cyber space as is does in meat space.

Aside from cost and construction, how is a rocket heater better/different from a good, catalytic-converter-equipped, wood stove? Can a catalytic converters play any role in a rocket heater?
