Although this is more than a month overdue, I wanted to thank Ernie and Erica for performing CPR on our rocket stove and bringing it to life. We were the field trip part of their Vermont class at Yestermorrow. They rebuilt our manifold and finally got our Rocket Stove to rocket. This is the first time we have had heat in our little cabin in seven years. Ernie and Erica are wonderful teachers and I highly recommend attending their workshops and the purchase of their plans. They are amazing, patient teachers and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

Hi Ernie & Erica

After listening to the 3 hour podcast on rocket stoves and your request for people to suggest workshops, I wondered if when you come to Vermont to do the Yestermorrow workshop if you are available for hire to build a rocket stove before the class? My off the grid camp is only 30 minutes from Yestermorrow (the other side of Warren mountain in Roxbury). I was planning on originally hiring an experienced natural builder but I would much rather hire you both and help with your request to travel the countryside. Please let me know if you would consider it and we can talk off line. Thank you for all you do and the time and energy it takes to do it.

i am interested in building a rocket stove in my cabin in Roxbury, VT. i always see benches as the thermal mass battery. is there anything wrong with setting it up to heat part of the flooring. my partner does yoga and i am interested in creating a toasty space for her. i may be able to attend your workshop at Yestermorrow in September but i live in PA and not sure if i can get the time off of work. do you have a place scheduled in Vermont where you will be building the rocket stove? is it overkill to build a rocket stove in a 450sf cabin? i just want to be environmentally efficient. thank you. hope to see you in September.
