Roman,

The article you provided here, http://www.scribd.com/doc/2228687/Homesteading-for-3000, is hard core and very truthful...

Thanks...!

Alan,

If you had the frig. in a more controlled environment, like your kitchen or utility room, maybe the condensation would be much less...(?)

When I find my home I think I might try it, to keep the electricity bill low.

I have seen these before, but do not use one daily..

I was wondering if anyone here has been using this type of frig and what they think about it's daily use/convenience...?

Dan,

Nice brick work. (I come from a family of stone/brick masons.) Looks like you have some masonry skills.

Wonder if you ever tried a steal/metal version..?

I have some experience in building a J. Llopis ( pronounced Yo-pee )ovens and you have given me some great ideas, an oven could be incorporated into your design very easily..

I had an in ground swimming pool once, got tired of it and converted into a pond with fish and Cherokee water lilies. worked great.
You will have to use an aerator to keep balance in a small pond. It was very enjoyable.

Good luck.
