Hello Permies!

We are Corinne (34), Adrian (33), and Indigo (1 year old) and we are looking to find kind, warm, conscious folk with young families living nearby to share life experiences with. Our intention is to live in our home home in an area with like-minded families living nearby, supporting and enjoying one another's company, where organic, fresh food is available.

On the 2nd April we depart from London in a campervan with the intention of visiting different intentional communities and eco-villages in Italy, France and Northern Spain.

We have experience of setting up a large yoga and wellbeing centre in London (www.evolvewellnesscentre.com) and are excited to live a slower way of life, more connected with nature, the seasons, the sun and the soil.

If you know of any specific communities in these areas that you could recommend we would be grateful!

Either leave a post in this thread or send us an email: adrian.kowal AT gmail DOT com

Many thanks and be well!

a day of natural renewal

with john milton

Fall in love with nature again, and share this rare opportunity to deepen and enrich your relationship with nature, each other & yourself.

This enriching experience will allow you to:

• Get grounded, energised and relaxed

• Develop presence, meaning and purpose in your life

• Refine your senses using nature as your guide

• Learn techniques and exercises to support the challenges of modern life

• Connect with john milton and other lovers of nature

The day of natural renewal offers all the components of our multi-day programs including solo time in nature, without need for camping equipment and sleeping outdoors.

The day of natural renewal allows you to sink into nature in a mindful way amidst the beauty of one of England’s most ancient woodlands.

The day begins by checking-in with fellow participants, and learning simple practices that can help you slow down and relax, become present and open your senses. Then a period of solo time in nature allows you to experience the richness of connecting with nature in your own way. We conclude with reflective dialogue with fellow delegates and the deep connection which naturally arises when a group of people immerse themselves in nature.

The programme has been designed by John Milton to provide access to many of the benefits and experience of longer retreats, within one day.

when: this 1 day event is being held on the following days:

friday 21 june 2013
saturday 22 june 2013
sunday 23 june 2013

testimonials

“The ability to actualise hidden potential lying dormant in the universe carries with it the power to change the world as we know it”. Joseph Jaworski, author of “Synchronicity” and “Source” describing a John Milton nature retreat.

john p. milton is a pioneering ecologist, spiritual teacher, meditation master, vision quest leader and shaman. His work began in mid-1940, after experiencing his first vision quest at 7 years of age. Since the 1950s, he has guided thousands of people to experience a deep connection with nature and develop a path to a higher consciousness.

john was instrumental in introducing the ‘vision quest’ to contemporary culture. His many years of solo time in the wilderness, combined with deep training in some of the world’s classical spiritual traditions, including Taoism, the Native American Way, Shamanism, Buddhism, Tibetan Dzogchen, Tantra, Hindu Vedanta and Christianity, form the basis of his teaching.

Hi all,

My partner Corinne and I are looking to set up an intentional eco-community in Matarranya, just on the southern boarder with Catalunia. We are moving in early June and already have a small network of like-minded people involved in sustainability and permaculture in the area from previous trips.

Please get in touch if you are interested...its always good to collaborate and share!

Hi Permaculture People,
My partner and I, as well as our amazing permaculture expert friend are moving to near Carcassonne in September 2012 to explore the different regions and help on permaculture projects before buying land. We are looking to buy 10 acres minimum for 2 homes, orchard, land for cultivation and permaculture design and in the future look to build a green school/Steiner based school and "slow" retreat centre encouraging people to slow down - yoga, meditation, harvesting their own veggies from the garden to cook communally, no internet or phone during their stay. We currently run www.evolvewellnesscentre.com in London which has a strong focus on sustainability education. We planted a roof garden on our studio using permaculture principles last April and have had an allotment for several years.

We are looking to help support like minded people with their land/work on their house in exchange for lodging and board. We have practical knowledge of planting/harvesting and some DIY experience. Please get in touch if you know of any such opportunities or are looking to network with good people from a similar perspective. We would love to hear from you.

Thanks!
