If you scroll down underneath the course options, there is a full course description, including what is covered each day. There is also a link that says "click here for course descriptions". I'll copy and post it here for you Jen Shrock:

Darren Doherty one of “the world’s leading experts” in Permaculture will be conducting an Applied Permaculture course in a 140 acre property in Elburn, Illinois and a 54 acre farm in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Darren is often called a “teacher’s teacher”. He has also been described as “one of the most prolific permaculture designers on Planet Earth”. His greatest strength is his practical application of permaculture in 1600 farms and properties that he has developed in 47 different countries. See Farm Implementations by Darren Doherty.

Permaculture “create(s) systems that are ecologically-sound and economically viable, which provide for their own needs, do not exploit or pollute, and are therefore sustainable in the long term" in the words of Bill Mollison the founder of Permaculture. "Permaculture uses the inherent qualities of plants and animals combined with the natural characteristics of landscapes and structures to produce a life-supporting system for city and country, using the smallest practical area." Of course, Permaculture is Organic, but it goes beyond Organic it is a way to design your garden, orchard or farm so that it is in harmony with nature.

The class is designed in such a manner, that both novices and experts will benefit from the practical application of Permaculture Design.

If you know what Permaculture is, join us to take your knowledge and experience to the next level. Work with Darren as he applies to principles of permaculture design to each of the properties to develop a Permaculture plan that is sustainable (profitable).

Find out how Darren applies his Permaculture Principles with a methodology called “Regrarian”. Regrarian’s are those who are actively undertaking the serious & timely process of regenerating, restoring, rehabilitating, rehabitating, rekindling & rebooting production landscapes across this planet.

The first two days will be applying Permaculture principles around:

1. CLIMATE 6. BUILDINGS
2. GEOGRAPHY 7. FENCING
3. WATER 8. SOILS
4. ACCESS Roads,
Tracks & Lanes 9. MARKETING
5. FORESTRY 10. ENERGY

The investigation and study of these elements will create an action plan to turn the farm from an orchard to a stacked sustainable enterprise in the first two days of the Applied Permaculture Design Course (Theory).

The next two days will be implementing the plan, explaining how to accomplish the plan, and setting a Gannt Chart for planned actions. Find out where Permaculture is headed and learn the topics and use of Polyface Farming, Keyline Ploughing, and Regrarian design. Mostly, spend four days with a leading expert in Permaculture. See the Outline of the Course.

Students are welcome for the first two days ($260 with advance sign up), last two days ($260) or for all four days of the course ($520). Work study can be used to fund part of the course as applicable.

The Michigan site is a 54 acre farm with 1000 dwarf apple trees all planted on contour. A variety of apples including Gala, Zestar, Winecrisp and Granny apples were planted on Bud 9 and M 9 root stocks. The soil is clay with a good amount of organic material. A soil study was conducted by Soil Net and is available for 2010 and 2011. A recommendation of soil soaks of compost tea was recommended. The apple orchard is three years old. The apple trees have been sprayed in compost tea including Kelp, Liquid Fish, and molasses each week last year. We have also been applying Neem regularly. Another soil study will be conducted before Darren Daugherty’s site visit.

Four of the swales have Wine Cap mushrooms planted in the swales. The plan is to spread the mushroom to the entire orchard.

The orchard is got wood chips spread all around the apple trees providing a fungally dominant soil structure. Daffodils, palms, clover along with grasses surround the apple trees. Each row has at least one or two comfreys which are mature. The idea is to have the comfreys spread out under each of the apple trees this year and the next.

The plan is to have three products from this orchard – Organic Apples, apple chips, and apple Juice/Cider.

Future Plans – the idea is to add other fruit products to the orchard as part of an apple guild. Considerations are being given to strawberries as a ground crop, grape on a trellis closer to the swale and also bushes of currants.

Note: All proceeds from the farm is donated to charities.

In May of 2012, Michigan became the first midwestern state to welcome Austrian farmer and permaculture visionary Sepp Holzer, along with his assistants Judith Anger and Immo Fiebrig. As part of our course, students installed one of Sepp’s signature “Krater gartens” at the Catherine Ferguson Academy in Detroit. This was a powerful hands on experience for all involved, and resulted in an agricultural transformation that continues to inspire awe and hope.

As Sepp realizes the global demand for Holzer Permakultur, he has given his blessing for this team to begin teaching and installing his systems and techniques around the world. They have chosen historic Highland Park, Michigan, birthplace of the Ford Motor Company as their first destination.

Accomplished international designers certified in Holzer Permakultur, Judith Anger, Immo Fiebrig and Johnny Peham have authored the urban Permaculture book “Jedem Sein Grun!” (Everyone has the right to grow). The book's creation was overseen by Sepp, has been very successful in Europe, and will see a 2013 release in the United States. This is the beginning of Sepp’s legacy, as taught by his most intrepid and skilled graduates.

Our 3 day course will feature hands on site evaluation, design and installation at 3 separate Highland Park sites - 2 residential homes, Hugelkultur beds, and one large scale Holzer Krater Garten, to be located at Distributed Power’s new Rhiza Farms.

Your host for Team Sepp: Holzer Permakultur USA is Nathan Ayers, director of Chiwara Permaculture Research & Education. Nathan instructed the first Permaculture Design Courses taught in Highland Park in 2010 & 2011, and continues to work with his graduates through the Highland Park Permaculture Guild.

Join Judith, Immo, Johnny and Nathan for the launch of this historic course and installation. Take home the knowledge and skills to begin installing Holzer Permakultur this year, where you live.

Early registration for this 3 day course is $149, and includes a welcome breakfast reception on Friday, September 28th.

After September 5th, registration is $199.

- A Meal plan featuring vegetarian, farm sourced cuisine is available for $25 per day (3 meals a day)
- Lodging on site is available on a first come, first served basis, for $29 per day
