My wife and I recently purchased 9.5 acres and are in the process of building our home on it. This piece of land is somewhat of a hillside leading up to a very large and flat field. The field is 100+ acres and is now being leased to a very large farming operation. Our house is around 60 feet away from the property line as our strip of land is very narrow. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can keep the things they spray away from my crop, my animals and my family? I thought about digging along drainage ditch along the property line and planting a long row of trees. Any thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
