Hi again.
Just a couple of additions to help figure out my delema.
The burn tube is about 22" long and, the tube is connected to the fire chamber
by a regular elbow. I was wondering if the turn from the fire chamber to the tube
is not sharp enough...you know.. a quick 90 versus a "slow" 90.
It seems as if the fire isn't large or hot enough to "push" the flame up the tube and,
it is not burning all the particulate matter. It doesn't seem very "rockety".
Possibly from the lack of air movement?
Thanks for your input.

Hi guys...love your stuff!! I have a question...I have built a rmh but it doesn't burn correctly...I made the burn tube frrom 6"
pipe inside 8" and insulated with concrete and perlite. The burn chamber I made with a T pipe...and I connected the two using an elbow.
I have a stainless steel keg for the barrel...then I have the exhaust inside chimney blocks filled with 5" and bigger stones. The pipe is flat and runs for 15'
more or less. It works "ok" when it first starts but the fire starts to lessen in 15 minutes and then smokes out the fire chamber.
Any suggestions?
