My name is Frank Smith. I am a friend of LarryKorn's and I try to support him in his mission. I am an old R&D altEnergy engineer with a strong family farm background. I have studied permaculture over the years ( my grandfather had the first Certified Organic veg/herb farm in San Diego County in the 70's. I am also a multimedium artist and own a small eco and art oriented web hosting and technical consulting company called Underbrain Industries Inc. We have been taming technology and making applications appropriate for over 25 years.
I am in a time crunch to find a peaceful site to live in the Portland area ( closer to Wilsonville is good!)
I have studied practiced with Brian Kirkvliet at Inspiration Farm in Wa since July of 2012. I am preparing to do my PDC and specialize in urban applications.
I have had a major life trauma, culminating in a sad but necessary divorce. I am trying serenely and peacefully to get back on Path wiht my Life and business.
A good lady friend from the art community ( we are both glassblowers etc) has hit a similar trauma and we have bonded to make the next steps in our lives.
We are both quite hungry to get back to the Peace of the Land. We spent this last weekend at MY home the beach/coast of the Pacifica. It centered our Souls and healed our Hearts. We need more of this serenity.e
We are seeking farm rental situation to contribute and heal at our pace, raise our dogs, and make art for the People.
Christina is new to the Permie culture but a vet in the Art community. I am a vet in both communities , but NEW to the Portland area.
Would you know of a rural rental for us?? we are even ready to mobile home or a may a good size RV to start out.
