I did take a look at the website....your site is very beautiful, and peaceful looking.

I get a sense of peace when I look at the healing lodge...truly the Native American spirits seem to be in it's essence.

Re the funding question....what if a pool of monies were put together and then everyone who donated got to vote on the list of hopeful speakers?

Also...if the group becomes a 501C-3 there are monies around to fund things like education, etc....(just a thought).

Also, I am sure that you could find *knowledgeable* people willing to speak on camera for a nominal fee.....try the professors at a land-grant university....
the local farm extension agents.....and just regular people who have been doing something for a long time....

Education is a collective pot.....many topics in the pot makes for a good soup and much extended knowledge gathered...

Hi all,

I just recently joined the site, and thought I would introduce myself.

I'm looking for a sustainable eco-community to join/become part of.

Currently I'm living in the Outer Banks of NC and will move when I find the right place/right fit to help grow and make thrive.

I'm a Master Gardener/teacher/librarian/stained glass artist....and have many topics that interest me...sustainable farming, bee-keeping, solar, greenhouse gardening, brewing, natural dyestuffs, drumming, etc.

Have some practical experience in living simply.

I'm looking for a joyful, loving and supportive place to live and grow and contribute to.

Thanks to Paul for posting all of the awesome videos...that's how I got to the site.

I'm single and in my mid-50's.

I've enjoyed reading the posts on this site.
